I got married in feb 1997 and divorced in sep 2009. I have moved to the UK and my ex has all the divorce papers. I show up as married on the home affairs webpage and cant do anything about it as I only have copies of my divorce papers. My ex wont give me the originals and wont register the divorce either. What can I do??????
