    My mom and dad have applied for their passports back in May. My dad received his within 2 weeks and my mom is still waiting. She is calling everyday as they have tickets booked for The Rugby World Cup over here in England which is next month. She is calling everyday just to be told that they are still investigating.   • Home Affairs Lost Passport



    I have applied for my Passport at Worcester Home Affairs on 09 Jun 2015. I have since contacted the department offices in Worcester over 20 times. Most times they will not take my call. But they have confirmed that they do not know where my passport is. Then it was "located" in Pretoria and would be delivered today 19 Aug 15 and they asked me to call today to confirm collection.   • Disappointed in PAARL Home Affairs



    We submitted our child's ID application early 12 April 2015. Received an sms notification that the ID can not be proccessed due to uotstanding documentation. We responded by visiting them again on the 11th of May 2015 to follow up on this notification. Only to hear that "sorry all documnets have been submitted, we do not know why you have received that sms". Needless to say the process had to resume from the start.   • Maritial Status



    My husband and I have been married for 7 months now. I have been struggling to get a ID with the new surname. The system still says SINGLE. Both my husband and I have spoken to the Marriage Officer and the documents were handed in personally to the correct authorities so the system can be updated. I have checked again this morning and it still says SINGLE on both my ID number and my husbands. Home Affairs wont accept my marriage certificate because the system says other wise - please help!!!   • APOSTILLED CERTIFICATES



    I have applied for two Apostille certificates for my son and daughter in law and grandson on the 12th November 2014. Was promised it will take between 3 - 8 weeks. Even though numerous telephone calls and e-mails - nothing. I was informed, when I lost my temper at a stage that they could not trace documents for my grandson's birth registration and that I had to fill in two forms again and fax or e-mail it to them to EXPEDITE the matter.     I applid for a passport on 18.12.2014, as i am flying to Belgium for business. on 06.01.2015 i went to enquire how long i still need to wait they would escalate it and mark it urgent.On 07.01.2015 i contatced the customer care line and was given a case number to exscalte as urgent since then i have been phoning them 4-5 times a day to find out how far is my passport.All my arrangements have been made for my trip by the company but still no passport i need to apply for my Visa and time is running out i have a appointment for tomorrow which is the last day i can apply for the visa.     Here is a description of the problem as emailed to both the Director and the Minister. Neither have had the courtesy to reply. On 21 February 2014 my wife, Jill Ann Stevenson (nee Fairfield) applied at the Estcourt office of the department for a "Vault Copy" of her birth certificate.   • NO DELIVERY VAULT MARRIAGE



    ON THE 4TH OCTOBER I APPLIED FOR VAULT COPY OF MARRIAGE AND EXPLAINED HE URGENCY. AFTER MUCH QUERIES AND FRUSTRATION WITH FARZANA (CONSTANT CALLING WITHOUT ANSWERING, EMAILING WITHOUT ANSWERING) MY DETAILS WERE FINALLY LOGGED ON THE SYSTEM THE 24TH OCTOBER!
