Closing times - Department of Home Affairs
I arrived at the dept of home affairs randburg at 15:20 after carefully checking the closing hours which were 16:00, only to have the security gate jammed in my face and denied access. Not only were the security very rude and arrogant but there were a handful of people who also wanted to get in and were denied. A group of people also exited saying the staff were refusing to deal with people who had not put in their forms at the desk before 15:00.
What kind of nonsense is this of public servants, these are the people and services I pay for with my taxes and they should not be able to dictate working hours because they want to go home early.
