bad service - Home affairs South Africa

Good Day
I came into the Pinetown Home affairs on the 8/3/2014 to renew my passport . I asked the lady at reception if she could assist me and attend to me urgent as I came with a person from our church and was paying him for my transport fair and also to fetch my son at pinetown where he was waiting to be fetched from his new college and since it was not a safe place to wait . I also told the lady that I was attempted hijacked with 7 stitches and did not feel safe in the environment. She was kind to attend to me . The person who brought me also decided to get his passport as it needed should we go on a church mission camp and we were then seen to urgently . We were also explained that it it not the norm. I then asked the few customers permission if i could go ahead and it was fine. When we came to making payment the next counter the lady was not willing to help and I asked to please speak to the manager as we completed 2 counters and had 2 to go .I spoke to the manager by the name of Ronnie (Pillay) I am not sure of his surname. He was helpful and indicated I go straight through to have our finger prints etc done and was told to leave funds and application with him . When completed I went to the office and handed to him .He then started shouting and raising his voice saying that he was willing to assist me and not the white man I was with . He then accused me of not being honest by say it was two people . He made remarks that the 'old white man his using our Indian woman' I tried to explain its not the case and he then refused to do the mans one and said it was only for me and he must sit in the queue.I took the application and left to fetch my son. The man then called me and said I should return the application form as it belong to the state. I then drove back and returned the form and left yet again to fetch my son.Now 2 hours had gone buy. The man then called me and said he called my manager at my work and told him of my behaviour with this white man . He said if I do not come immeditately he will cancel my application and we will have to redo . He said we must not think we can come at 4 pm wen there is no queue he will ensure we come the next day and wait in the queue. He said he will call my manager the next day aswell and ensure that he was going to complain about me . At this stage I had fetched my son and was at home.I then had to ask my neighbour to take me back to pinetown . I could not get hold of Mr JC Le Roux.I went back to the office with my son.I was extremely upset as I am a single mum and work at fnb bank and need my job I aslo pride myself with my conduct and the uniform I wear . I asked the man why did he threaten me . He then insynuated that the man could be a 'partner' of mine . I had to explain that this is not so . Shortly afterwards the man came and i left,
THanks Bev

Been to Home Affairs - Pinetown at 14:00 to apply for an ID.
Firstly the security system is non functional, the guard was busy talking to his buddies.
The lady at the info table told me that it is CLOSED for ID applications now, as per her manager, and advised I go to counter 6 and ask for Ms Pillay, which I did, I explained her my situation that my ID was stolen and I have been to Durban Office was told that the card system is only done at Pinetown, and the fact I have been already gone 3 times, she then me to wait for her manager Mr Perumal, who came a few minutes later I again explained my problem, and was blantly told to come in tomorrow.
This offices closes at 4:30pm who gives him the right to close when he feels his staff has overworked.
This is a Govt. Department not his private tuck shop that he closes when he choose.
While waiting I noticed that the staff are not supervised all in a go slow mode, busy talking to fellow staff about last night.
This office is a joke.
