Centurion Home Affairs Offices how we stood in line from 10am to 6pm just to apply for an ID card, only to be met by a rude lady by the name of Cathy Moleko. Who set there chatting away on her cellphone whiles ignoring people that have been standing in line for hours.

When confronted, Cathy had the nerve to tell us all "Why did you come to the Department of Home Affairs , Centurion if you are not willing to stand and wait" as she continued on her phone. Whiles a hundred plus people waited in line.

We asked to see her supervisor and we were shown to a man by the name of Godfrey. We spoke to him regarding Cathy's conduct, He walked with us to where she was sitting. As we got there Cathy stood up fingered everyone in line and proceed to shout at all of us and told us how we incompetent we all were for not understanding how the "system" worked -Whiles Godfrey stood there and watched.

Godfrey gave us new numbers -because the system had misplace and juggled all the numbers we had around- which she bluntly refuse to process and we continued sitting there with a smile on her face, while Godfrey did nothing.

To the department i trust that this will be sorted out and resolved ASAP. It is unacceptable how she spoke to all of us and i for one would appreciate an apology from Cathy and Godfrey for such treatment.

This is not Batho Pele and i know for sure that is not how public servants should treat the public as i am too a public servant.
