Unabridged birth certificate not received in more than 7 months - Unabridged birth certificate

I am terribly disappointed in the lack of commitment to the Batho-pele principles. I have applied for my daughter's unabridged birth certificate in Sept 2014 and I am still told by the department that "head office" is still waiting to update my records. I call the department weekly to follow up on this matter and I am not getting any joy. There is no sense of urgency whatsoever in this department, and its a shame that we as Taxpayers don't have an alternative even though we fund these people's salaries.
