I have applied for my Passport at Worcester Home Affairs on 09 Jun 2015. I have since contacted the department offices in Worcester over 20 times. Most times they will not take my call. But they have confirmed that they do not know where my passport is. Then it was "located" in Pretoria and would be delivered today 19 Aug 15 and they asked me to call today to confirm collection. I have called about 10 times today and no-one will take my call they keep transferring me. My trip has been booked and I need my passport to leave the country. My previous passport was still valid but I was updating the document with my married surname. However, now I am receiving no feedback. No-one returns my calls even though I have left numerous urgent messages. Who can assist me? I have spent so much money on calls and petrol from Cape Town to Worcester to try and sort this out. What a disgrace! Why can't Home Affairs cancel the lost one and process a new application??????????? I have sms'd the Home Affairs number to track my passport application process and it says that there is no application under my ID number!!!
